Pirates Bay Family Aquatic Center to open in Baytown
City leaders approved a 6 million dollar advance to finish Pirates Bay Family Aquatic Center, part of an 11.1 million dollar project. Admission is planned at 6 dollars for residents and 8 dollars for non residents, featuring a 670 foot lazy river, two beaches, slides, and rentable meeting rooms. Dave Jirrell of the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee calls it exciting and says it will put Baytown on the map.
