Teen girl arrested for shoplifting at Kroger store
A 17-year-old girl was taken into custody for shoplifting at the Kroger in the 1700 block of North Alexander at 3 p.m. Sunday. She was with another woman and three children. the other woman was not charged after abandoning the plan when her friend was stopped by staff.

Mervyn's closes Baytown and eight Houston area stores
