Trinity Guild Spring Styles Show Planned for March
Seventeen members of the Parish Guild of Trinity Episcopal Church met at Mrs. Paul Alleman’s home to plan an 1850 spring and summer fashion revue for Baytown. The event, slated for March 6 at the Baytown Community House, will feature clothes from Town and Country Shop. Co chairs Mrs. George Bruce and Mrs. W O H Barber organize tickets, publicity, advertising, tables, refreshments, stage, and music. Guild room furnishing plans for the church education wing were also discussed.

Man Injured When Vehicles Collide
E. & Bilis of 1308 Pine St was in serious condition after a motorbike rider collided with a northbound interurban car on Market Street Road at Baytown Woods. Motorman Farr testified he stopped the car at the crossing and had started again at about 15 miles per hour when the bike approached from the west. Enis reported amnesia about the incident. Blis was knocked from the motorbike and hospitalized with brain concussion and possible internal injuries.

Heart Attack Fatal To Truman's Friend
Independence Missouri January 24 Roger B Sermon mayor and longtime friend of President Truman died from a heart attack after collapsing in front of Independence City Hall. On Again Off Again Blockade At Helmstedt Checkpoint
Soviet troops conducted exhaustive inspections of documents travel permits and IDs of German teachers attempting to pass Berlin via the Helmstedt superhighway checkpoint. Each check took AB minutes allowing four trucks per hour. Last night 104 trucks queued but delays eased at other routes.
