Beach City Alderman Dana Colquitt’s home burned Tuesday afternoon with her family listed as residents. No injuries reported as the dogs were safe and the family vacated the house. The family is staying in a motel while insurance is settled and donations have begun arriving locally.

An ExxonMobil contract worker was hospitalized after an incident at the Baytown Complex. The worker was flown by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann hospital for evaluation. Fire crews extricated the worker, who was alert with no evident injuries during the lengthy operation.
