Rangers Aim To Get Back In Playoff Race At Deer Park
The Ross S. Sterling boys basketball team seeks a win against Deer Park at home after three straight losses that have left them outside the playoff picture. Deer Park sits 3-2 in district play, with losses to North Shore and La Porte. Coach Greg Smith emphasizes tempo and active defense to disrupt Deer Park’s solid ball handling. A Sterling win, combined with results elsewhere, could tighten the District 21 standings. Tipoff in Baytown is at 7 p.m.
