Well water well expansion draws local concerns in Beach City
Beach City residents fear groundwater contamination from a proposed Masters Resources well. The injection interval lies deep below the water table, raising worries about leaks and drinking-water safety. Local traffic noise and barges from the site worry Mayor Guido Persiani amid limited zoning and no noise ordinances. The Railroad Commission will review environmental and procedural standards before a final decision. Citizens can file objections within 15 days, potentially prompting a public hearing.
