The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Chambers County takes place June 12 at White's Park Hankomer with eight to fifteen person teams from businesses civic groups and families. A February 3 kickoff at the Winnie Stowell Community Building features Al White and The Chaparral plus door prizes and team registration. The Cruisin' for a Cure car truck and motorcycle show March 3 at Winnie Stowell Park raises funds, with entry fees and votes supporting the American Cancer Society. Proceeds support cancer causes and events.
