CAP Plans New Building Here in Baytown
The Baytown Composite Squadron and Group 20 of the Civil Air Patrol will get a new headquarters in Baytown at the south end of the Humphrey Airport runway on five acres leased by Lt. Col. H. M. Humphrey. Prefabricated quonset building materials arrived December 12 from England AFB via Tyler Texas Wing Headquarters. Completion is hoped for early March. bathroom fixtures lumber and labor are needed. Baytown cadets and senior members helped unload the materials with Group 20 personnel assisting.
