Highlander Tops Three Row SUV Test Among Competitors
Consumer Reports tested 14 midsized three row SUVs priced from 34270 to 39240. The Toyota Highlander scored highest for refinement and ride, edging Honda Pilot and Acura MDX, with strong V6 power and 18 mpg, though steering feel and third row folding limitations dampen its appeal. Buick Enclave and Ford Taurus X also rated well, while Subaru Tribeca offered sporty handling but cramped third row and mixed reliability.
