A man arrested for city warrants asked a friend to retrieve his car to avoid towing. The friend, checked by police, was also wanted and both men were jailed. Additional reports include burglaries and thefts in multiple city blocks, with entries detailing stolen items and entry methods.
A sequence of thefts and burglaries reported across multiple blocks including Rollingbrook Drive West Baker Road Garth Road and Lafayette Street. Incidents include jewelry theft, drugs, a burglarized business with unknown losses a stolen red 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse and shoplifting plus engine fluids worth over one hundred dollars.
Baytown police logged 31 offense reports and 155 calls from Saturday morning to Sunday morning, including one assault and one auto theft, plus multiple burglaries and thefts. From Sunday morning to Monday morning, 28 offense reports with three assaults and six burglaries, plus other arrests and reports.
Hargrave reports a burglary at Robson's with a $5,000 reward for information leading to arrests. Video shows two black men and one white man driving a light tan, gray, or silver early 2000s Chevy or GMC. A CVS Pharmacy break in by three men occurred about 3:10 a.m. with drugs taken. AT&T store alarm at 3:29 a.m. yielded no suspect contact or video.
