City Building Permits To Cost More In Future
City council approved a new fee structure for building permits including no fee on the first 500 of project cost and stepped charges up to 1000. They also granted a water and sewer service request for Leroy Walker’s Chapparal Village subdivision just outside city limits, but denied garbage pickup due to jetty limitations. Baytown City Council accepted low bids for a 1 ton central air conditioning unit at the police station and a 12 inch sanitary sewer line on Baker Road.
