Carl McKay Banks Last Rites Sunday at Wooster

Carl McKay Banks 69 of 6301 Rayway Drive Wooster died at home Friday at 3 30 a.m. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday at Paul WU Funeral Home with Rev W Donald Harris officiating. Burial in San Jacinto Memorial Park. He was a retired first class pipefitter for Sheil Oil Co and a member of Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Local 4.367. Ravtown Woman to Appear on TV Show

Frances Smith of 418 Riges will appear on Women's World on KILOU TV Channel 1 at 12 15 pm Wednesday. She is interviewed as a winner from the Clairol Art Foundation show displayed through January 19 at Poley's ninth floor. Smith was one of three Houston area winners from 72 paintings selected from about 400 entries. The tour has shown the works across the United States with Houston as the final stop.

Trickle Reported in Chambers for State Senate Seat

A light vote appeared in Chambers County for a special election to fill the two year term of Senator Jimmy Phillips.
