Winter Bay Haunts Texan Waters For Trout And Redfish
Cold Texas days drive anglers to deeper, warmer bay floors where mud acts as a heat reservoir. Sabine Lake, Neches River, and Sabine River host steady trout and redfish as the Spillway at Trinity Bay and Offatts Bayou draw winter waders. Tackle notes include live shad on Carolina rigs, Corkies, Mirrolures, and Rat-L-Traps for slow rides and night hits.
