CV Water District Board Candidates Give Views
Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 voters will elect two directors. Incumbents John Sidney Lee and W Edward Smith seek re election. S A Tex Spates and Robert A Jenkins also appear as candidates with Jenkins planning a write in bid. Lee and Smith cite bond issue progress and district improvements while Spates calls for district revaluation. Two Baytown Naval reservists won the center pistol team trophy at Houston.
