Kelson Transmission seeks CCN for 345 kV line in seven Texas counties
Kelson Transmission Company requests a Public Utility Commission of Texas CCN to build a roughly 95 mile 345 kV double circuit transmission line from the Deweyville area to a switching station near Mont Belvieu. The plan updates route cuts after public feedback, moving the Chambers County termination north and creating alternate path options in Liberty and Jefferson counties. Estimated project cost is about 268.37 million dollars with a spring 2010 completion target. Public and landowner questions or interventions must be filed by February 11, 2008 with the PUC and docket clerk.
