Night Fishing: Nocturnal Angling Breaks Daylight Limits
Night fishing gains popularity as workers log long hours and daylight fades. Beach piers from Bolivar Peninsula to Port Isabel glow with lights attracting winter trout, redfish, and other species. Anglers use popping corks, Mirrolures, glow baits, and DOA shrimp while riverine systems yield trout upriver during droughts. Generators and pier lights offer a practical setup for off‑hour fishing.
