Eiland Pushes HB 232 to Tackle School Financing Reform
Rep. Craig Eiland plans to introduce HB 232 to compel the 78th Texas Legislature to address public school financing amid a budget shortfall estimated between 8 and 10 billion dollars. He critiques the Robin Hood system and notes Goose Creek is nearing Chapter 41 status, which would force budget cuts. Eiland also filed HB 231 aiding Bolivar Peninsula homeowners in the Federal Coast Barrier Zone.
