Orphaned Bentley brood find new life at church home
In Kannapolis and Morganton eight Bentley siblings begin anew with Miss Andrea Triplett aiding their transfer to the Church of God orphanage after a fatal car crash that claimed Abner Bentley and his wife. Ten remaining children shift to six foster homes as welfare rules delay the youngest's placement. The group keeps Christmas with donated clothes and toys while awaiting adoption.
