Scarborough 1960s First Car Fatality in Baytown Area
The first 1960 Baytown traffic fatality occurred early Friday when Kenneth Troy Scarborough 23 of Wooster died in a one car wreck on Barkaloo Road near Baytown. The 1957 Chevrolet crashed into a concrete bridge abutment after losing control in a curve. Scarborough was pinned between the wheel and seat. His wife and two children survived, as did other passengers treated and released. Funeral arrangements to be announced by Paul A. Lee Funeral Home.
