Goose Creek CISD trustees voted 5-0 to place a May 11 bond election on the ballot. The plan funds 177.7 million for three new elementary schools and district wide tech upgrades, plus 89.8 million for major maintenance, safety, and security across campuses. If approved, taxes could rise about 9.3 percent.
