Demolition moves forward on old San Jacinto Hospital
Wrecking crews with cranes and trucks target the former San Jacinto Hospital on Decker Drive after a August court order declared the building a public nuisance and authorized demolition. TD Opportunity Fund fought the move but failed to secure a stay. Baytown will bill the owner and may file a lien if unpaid. The land remains privately owned.
