Negro Boy Struck By Car In Serious Condition
A 12 year old Negro boy was injured seriously when struck by a car while chasing a ball across a highway near Crosby. Clifford Tullos, son of John Tullos Sr, suffered fractures of the leg and pelvis and severe bruises. His brother John Tullos Jr, 14, recounted they had been to a rovers store to buy bread and were returning home. Reginald Anderson of Parkersburg said the boy dropped the ball and crossed into the road, not seeing the car. The driver faced no charges.
