PZ fails to amend zoning for a Baytown business park plan
Baytown Planning and Zoning Commission rejected a proposal to reclassify 408 acres as light industrial to allow a business park near Interstate 10. The vote was 5 to 2 against, citing landscaping buffers and gateway area beautification goals. The panel did approve reclassifying a recently annexed 4.88 acre tract from NC to MU and authorized an RV park in Bay Oaks Harbor amid ongoing waterline concerns. Decisions move to City Council for final action.
