Channelview trustees accept the low bid from iRauscher Pierce Securities Corp Houston for 1 million in school bonds at 5.236842 percent. They also hire Pritchard and Abbott for 7500 annually to two years for tax revaluation of oil and gas utilities and other industries. Interest costs total 796000 over 23 years. Proceeds will be banked until valuation increases allow more bond sales to fund phase two of the building program. The district must raise 5 million in valuation to issue another 1 million block.
