Baytown police and Harris County detectives arrested Costas Hosparis 30 of 7194 Sheldon Road in connection with Baytown home burglaries. He was charged with receiving and concealing stolen property after a Friday search. Cameras and jewelry were recovered. bond set at 2,500 after initial 100,000 was reduced. Three Injured In Three Car Crash On Highway 146
Three people were hospitalized after a freak three car collision early Monday on Goose Creek bridge along Highway 146. William Follett, 60, of League City, suffered serious chest injuries and was pinned inside a car after a collision with Daniel Sallis. A passerby, Ferrari Black, 34, Pasadena, aided Follett as a third car struck the wrecked vehicle.

Hartselt Gray became Harris County treasurer after being sworn in at 2 44 pm Friday at Commissioners Court. He fills the term of the late Constance McDavid ending December 31 1974. Gray an Episcopal minister and Rice University graduate previously worked as consultant to Calvin Guest and as operations manager for the Harris County Community Action Association in the 1960s. He also served as executive assistant to County Judge Bill Elliott.
