NASA area highway plan promises tough revisions
League City officials heard Herbert Petry Jr of the Texas Highway Commission outline a multi year program to handle NASA traffic. Key projects include expanding Gulf Freeway to eight lanes and widening State Highways 3 225 146 and 1561 with costs ranging from hundreds of thousands to $272.4 million. The plan aims to ease moon shot related travel and other NASA area development impacts.
