Serial robber caught in town
Kenneth Peters, 22, who was wanted for robberies in Port Arthur, was arrested in Baytown for aggravated robbery at a convenience store on West Baker Road. He attempted to steal 300 dollars and cigarettes with a knife. Port Arthur police had pursued him for months across the city and he is to be taken to Jefferson County.

Stolen Vehicles and Burglaries Reported Around City
Police report multiple thefts including a tan 2000 Chevrolet truck with welding machine stolen from the 5200 block of Interstate 10 Monday night and a red 1985 Chevrolet Silverado stolen in the 900 block of North Alexander Drive earlier this month. A motorcycle theft occurred in the 2200 block of West Baker Road on Tuesday and a 1999 Chevrolet truck was burglarized on North Alexander Drive Tuesday night with $200 taken from the console. Two Samsung Gear fitness monitors were stolen from the 4600 block of Garth Road on Tuesday.
