Baytown seniors invite the public to a country and western dance from 10 a.m. to noon at the Baytown Community Center located at 2704 Market Street. The daily calendar notes the event as a local community activity organized for seniors.
The Baytown Kiwanis Club meets at noon at Luna's. Learn to create 3D designs and print free using the 3D printer at 5 p.m. at Sterling Municipal Library. The Baytown Ballroom Dance Club celebrates its tenth anniversary with a Friday dance from 7 to 10 pm at Baytown Community Center. DJ Butch provides music. light refreshments served. admission is $10. The club, founded by Lawrence and Ruth Herbert, meets the third Friday monthly and has taught waltz, foxtrot, swing, rhumba, samba, mambo, tango, two step, and line dance.
Goodfellows thanks Baytown donors who gave to provide toys for children aged 2 to 10 this Christmas. Gifts include 540 from Fred Guinn and 5100 in memory of Betty O Sullivan from multiple contributors. Donors listed include Gilbert and Rose Riojas 50, Mary Estrada 110, Goose Creek Lodge 300, and others totaling varied amounts.
