Baytown targets code enforcement along Texas Ave area
Baytown began multi department inspections along Texas Avenue from Pruett to Commerce and within one block on both sides to check health, building, fire and sign codes and address nuisances. The effort, supported by a $700,000 federal grant, aims to elicit voluntary compliance and kick off beautification under the Downtown Master Plan.

City crews redo southbound inner and outer lanes at 3400 block south of Rollingbrook and northbound lanes at the 400 block north of Birdsong.
