Barbara Reekie wed 19 hours after meeting David in 1957 after a cafe conversation and a roadside bouquet. They had four children, shared adventures from bluebonnets to a pearl ring, and remained together until David’s death in 1999. Elizabeth Hillhouse and Stephen Hillhouse marked 50 years married on Monday, after meeting through a babysitter when Liz was 14 and Stephen 16. They have four children and 13 grandchildren, with two more expected, valuing family and daily grandchildtime.
