Neighbors Killer Given Life For Capital Murder In Houston
Isaac Norvell Smith, 49, was found guilty of capital murder in the June 17 2010 stabbing death of 71 year old Julia Muckleroy inside her North Street home. He received life in prison without parole after a five day trial in the 177th Criminal District Court in Houston. Muckleroy called 911 during the attack and died at a hospital. DNA linked Smith, who lived across the street, to the scene.

Irving man charged after Baytown officer pursuit and arrest
Baytown officers arrested Jared Griffin in the 2400 block of Rollingbrook Drive after a suspicious siting. A search of the vehicle yielded a handgun, 32.5 grams of marijuana, 74 Xanax pills and PCP.
