Goose Creek panel hears on proposed Transportation Center site
About 60 residents gathered at Ross S. Sterling High School to air concerns about the Transportation Center behind Gentry Junior School. The bond project approved in 2013 would centralize all bus operations, with residents citing fuel transport risks, traffic, noise and light pollution, and safety for nearby children. Goose Creek board approved the site in August and officials from the district and design firm answered questions.
