Baytown residents Williams and Walker filed Thursday for the District 2 city council seat. Walker, program director at KWBA radio, is interim pastor at Wooster Baptist Church and has ties across Baytown and East Harris County. Williams owns Williams Engineering Co and has a lengthy Baytown background, with a March 4 filing deadline noted for the April city election.
Partly cloudy and warm conditions expected in the Baytown area on Saturday with temperatures ranging from 15 to 65 degrees. Galveston tides are listed for Friday with a low at 5 30 a m and a high at 2 30 p m.
