Officials pursue drug bust tied to large cash seizure
The county task force continues probe into a cash seizure linked to a drug bust on an interstate south toward Texas and Mexico. Authorities cite the possibility of others involved while focusing on Nieves acting alone. A civil suit will address the seized van and money with the suspect named as an interested party. The proceeds may fund the task force or county efforts, as agencies praised deputies Hunter and Moon for the arrest and highlighted drug trafficking funding.
