Fonteno, a former municipal judge in 1957 58 and Baytown jurist, seeks another four year term on the Harris County Commissioners Court. A Port Arthur native who moved to Baytown in 1957, he has practiced law, served in the Merchant Marines and U S Army, studied at Lamar Tech, and later became a real estate consultant. He won a 1974 runoff to the commission and took oath in January 1976.
