Share Your Christmas drives aid Highlands students
Highlands Elementary School counselor Michelle Stripling leads the annual Share Your Christmas drive benefiting students across Goose Creek CISD. The program, conceived 18 years ago by Catholic Daughters at St. Jude Thaddeus Church, gathers clothing and toys from sponsors including Catholic Daughters of Saint Jude's, First Baptist Church of Highlands, ZXP Technologies, and more to support over 150 students each year. Local clubs, businesses, and individuals donate, wrap, and deliver gifts, with organizers noting continued community generosity despite hardships. For involvement, contact the schools or Theresa Cashion at 281 426 2109.
