Woman's Christmas Village Grows After 44 Years
Baytown resident Charlotte Martinez began with a small lighted nativity scene on a coffee table for her baby son. Forty four years later the collection spans 18 feet with figures houses a windmill a skating rink and stores like Lowes and Home Depot. Grandchildren now enjoy the lights each night preserving a family tradition she kept alive after her husband’s death nine years ago.
