Funeral services for three year old Michael Lee Pitre of Highlands were held at Earthman's Highlands Chapel with two ministers presiding. He died in a Houston hospital and is survived by his sister Debany Adams and several grandparents. Burial was at San Jacinto Memorial Park. Pallbearers named include Roy E. May and Paul Pitre. Also listed are services for 87 year old Fannie Ellen Rayner of Baytown at Paul A. Lee Funeral Home with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery. Survivors include daughter Ben D. Funeral services were held for Roger Truett McConnell age 19 of Channelview at Howard Glendale Chapel Houston. He died after a long illness from injuries sustained in a shooting inside a Houston store in November 1968. Survivors include his mother Lou Ann McConnell Channelview his father Roger Truett McConnell Richmond Va a sister Carol and two brothers Robert and Richard all of Channelview plus grandparents R D Turner Channelview and Shirley McConnell Houston.
