Cruisin' Texas Toy Run Delivers 2000 Toys to Baytown Kids
Rocky Strange of Pelican Junction led the sixth annual Cruisin' Texas Toy Run from Pelican Junction to the Baytown Community Center where CVS Pharmacy helped provide Santa photos. More than 2,000 toys were distributed to local children with support from numerous donors and partners.

Armed robberies raise Baytown police alert at two local sites
A Hispanic male armed with a semi automatic pistol forced entry at Quality Inn on 300 S Alexander Dr around 9 p.m. and ordered two victims to surrender money. One victim was searched but nothing taken while the suspect grabbed a Microsoft Xbox 360. The second robbery occurred about 10:45 p.m. in a restaurant parking lot on Beaumont Road where a man texted in his vehicle.
