BPD and DA Expand No Refusal Drunk Driving Crackdown
Baytown Police Department teams with Harris County District Attorney's Office to intensify No Refusal weekends during Christmas and New Year holidays. Prosecutors will obtain warrants for mandatory blood tests for suspected DWI drivers who refuse breath tests. The effort, funded by a three year Texas DOT grant, will run every weekend in Harris County with police agencies statewide supporting the drive. Baytown officers will participate, said Det. Aaron Crowell.

In Highlands Texas Goose Creek CISD Highlands Elementary School students and teachers produced 16,000 handmade Christmas cards for overseas troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
