Letters to the Editor on VFD volunteers shortages
A reader criticizes local Sun coverage of growth as a challenge for the volunteer fire departments. They question emphasis on Sheriff Hawthorne, call for more interviews with other departments, and challenge the stated funding figure. The letter laments few volunteers during daytime fires in Beach City, notes multiple games with transfer of responsibility, and urges more residents to volunteer to ease the load.
