College leaders debate McNair expansion and flood constraints
At the meeting Busch outlined land limits for Lee College beyond the planned 50,000 square foot facility at the McNair Center. Much of the site lies in floodplain or the FE MA floodway, requiring elevated construction and limiting usable buildable acres. Regents questioned future expansion and whether current plans suffice, while governance and agenda processes drew scrutiny with no action taken on the new facility.
