Former Hill Councilman Submits Wallisville Plan
Former Mont Belvieu city councilman Joe E. Matthews proposes an alternative Wallisville Lake plan to the Corps of Engineers. He urges fresh water flow to Trinity Bay, boat access between Cut-Off Bayou and Trinity River, and water distribution via pump stations and a northward lock move, while avoiding ecosystem loss and high pumping costs.
