NAACP Plans Statewide Texas School Desegregation Suit
NAACP Southwest Regional Director Richard Dockery says a landmark 1972 suit will target Texas and the Texas Education Agency to order desegregation across public schools and curb white flight. Santa to stay for Baytown radio show Friday night
Santa Claus will remain overnight in Baytown to appear on the Firefighters "Hot Line" radio show Friday from 8:35 to 9 a.m. on Station KWBA. Children may phone in for a one minute talk, and Santa will leave flashlight batteries for battery operated toys on a first come, first served basis.
