Baytown Toy Drive Delivers Bikes and Joy at Community Center
About 108 bikes were donated and given away at the Baytown Community Center after Cruisin Texas Avenue. Dozens of children left with a toy and a free photo with Santa. McNair Center to gain laptops and charging stations
When the McNair Center opens in January it will include 57 Dell laptop computers and three charging stations. The Lee College Board approved the purchase at 52050.72 funded by bond funds. Laptops will be placed in the center’s computer labs aiding welding machining and pipefitting programs.

Lee College Extends Lease at San Jacinto Mall Through August 2016
The college’s Educational Opportunity Center will keep occupying 1,407 square feet at San Jacinto Mall under a lease with San Jacinto Retail Associates costing 1009 dollars per month or 12,108 dollars annually. The space was on a month to month basis while mall ownership plans renovations raise questions about staying beyond the current term. Courses formerly offered at the mall have moved back to campus or will be taught at the McNair Center. The center assists students with financial aid to enter any college, not only Lee College.
