Crosby ISD food drive tops Houston area in can goods
Crosby ISD conducted a December food drive with the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association for Shriner’s Hospitals. The Middle School, led by Principal Patricia Kay, collected 6095 cans and boxes, with Kelli Gobert’s class over 2000 cans and Prince Reed donating more than 1700. The Kindergarten led by Principal Ronnie Davenport finished second. Mississippi coach Ed Orgeron may have secured Jevan Snead as starting quarterback for 2008 after Snead, a 6’3” 215-pound signal caller, chose Ole Miss over Houston and TCU.
