New York Neighborly Christmas Tree Reflections From Rockefeller Center
AP Special Correspondent Jules Low paints a warm scene of New York during Christmas as Rockefeller Center’s famed tree captivates crowds. Mike Russo of the Security department shares 20 years watching the celebrations, recalling childhood limits and the Tree’s enduring magic amid bells, choirs, roasting chestnuts, and city lights. A white spruce, chosen after a 000 mile search, stands 45 stories tall and 35 feet wide, embodying hope in the concrete canyons.
