Chambers County libraries host children's programs this week with guest appearances at Anahuac 4 p.m. Tuesday and West Chambers Mont Belvieu 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. County offices close Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Christmas dinner. Bayou Big Band concert 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Point Bar and Grill in Baytown.
