Trustees Raise Pay For Custodial And Maintenance Staff
The school board approved additional pay increases for custodians transportation and maintenance workers effective December 1 with an annual cost around 10000 and about 5000 this year. A new clerical classification was approved for 53 employees at 7560 annually, with similar funding remaining for future increases. The board also accepted Matherne's Baytown posting equipment bid for 1320 as the lowest bid, noted as better value due to sheet quantity.
