GCM students win state honors in theater writing contest
Abby and Tayana, GCM theater students, were named state champions for their plays written for a contest. Abby, a junior, aims for writing or nursing, while senior Tayana plans college acting and musical theater. Directors Nina Saunders and Alicia Green guided them. Their prize includes 200 dollars and a staged reading at the 2017 TETA TheatreFest in Galveston January 25 to 28.
